My Bio:
A classically trained pianist, Peter is a graduate of the
Crane School of Music, SUNY at Potsdam, has studied at the Birmingham Conservatoire,
Birmingham, England, and the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Music Education at the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor). Peter
has studied piano with Dr. Billy Taylor (Jazz at Kennedy Center/NPR), Vince
Maggio (University of Miami) and Dr. Garik Pedersen (Eastern Michigan).
In October of 2001, Peter released his first recording as a leader entitled
Syndrome, which received local airplay on jazz programming for WDET 101.9,
WEMU 89.1 and WLNZ 98.7. During 2003, Peter composed and recorded the musical
score to the independently produced film, An Occurrence At Owl Creek Bridge.
